NextGen DigiTech V.O.F. is a private research based company in the Hague, Netherlands consisting of a team of researchers and experts with a sound scientific background in disciplines comprising the branch of systems engineering, data analysis and software development. The company is formed with the purpose to automate the design process of structural components and with the goal to reduce the time for designing, analyzing and to reduce the use of steel and cast material by optimizing the design.

NextGen DigiTech is looking for a Research Assistant (RA) in Dhaka, Bangladesh with versatility and ambition to take on a multitude of key operational tasks. The RA will be assigned research tasks related to a research project, writing research papers and activities that are associated with data collection and analysis in the areas of
innovation management and strategy by companies.

• Understanding on collecting journal articles from Google Scholar database using specific keywords, material type and publication year
• Reading journal articles on topics provided
• Writing literature review based on the research theme instructed
• Collect and analyse data from companies interviewing company representatives
• Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
• Prepare research articles, reports, and presentations
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Key Experiences & Knowledge

• Academic and/or job work experience (minimum 1 year) related to business and management
• Experience with qualitative research
• Knowledge of using Google Scholar • Reading, analysing and writing up literature review
• Knowledge of calendar systems and ability to coordinate schedules between multiple parties
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Quick learner, self-sufficient, require minimal supervision (after ramp-up)
• Knowledge of MS Office and G-Suite products (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge or work experience in SPSS (Statistical analsysis software) is an advantage

Degree Qualifications

• Bachelor of Business or Science or Engineering

Contract Duration

• 3 months’ probation period
• 1 Year fixed term contract after successful completion of the probation period

Salary & Benefits

• Based on experience, skills & interview

Working Hour & Location

• Full time (40 hours per week) or Part time (Minimum 25 hours per week)
• Primary location in Dhaka, Bangladesh
